Q. What is TrueView?
TrueView is a short-video platform by MoreTech, designed for authentic content from real people. The mission is simple: real videos, real people, no algorithm games.
Q. How do I create an account?
From the home page, tap the profile icon and choose Register. You'll need to provide a username, email, password, phone number, date of birth (you must be 13 or older), and gender. None of these fields appear on your public profile by default.
Q. How do I upload a video?
Sign in, then tap the + button in the bottom navigation. You can choose a video file (MP4 or WebM, up to 100 MB), give it a title, pick a category, optionally add #hashtags, and choose visibility (public or private). User uploads go through a quick admin review before appearing in the feed.
Q. Why is my video "Under Review"?
All user uploads are queued for a brief moderation review before going live. This keeps the community safe and authentic. You can still play your own pending video from your profile while it waits — it just isn't visible in the public feed yet.
Q. How do I reset my password?
Use the Forgot Password? link on the login screen. We'll email a new temporary password to your registered address. Sign in with it and change it from Settings → Change password right away.
Q. How do I follow someone?
Open someone's profile (tap their @username on a video card or in the right panel) and press Follow. They'll get a notification, and they'll appear in your Following tab on your own profile. Tap the same button to unfollow at any time.
Q. How do I make a video private?
On your own profile, find the video in your list and tap the Public/Private toggle next to it. Confirm the change — private videos are visible only to you. You can flip it back to public any time.
